This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain tailored networking components, client-server architectures, and protocol resolvers including UDP/TCP, DNS, and socket communications.
• Utilize data structures, memory management techniques, and graph search algorithms such as A*, custom hashing, and priority queues to address performance and indexing issues.
• Create and conduct unit, integration, and stress tests to verify network state synchronization, identify edge cases, and remove execution bottlenecks.
• Employ GDB and Wireshark for tracing memory leaks, analyzing packet flows, and debugging asynchronous multi-threaded or multi-client execution paths.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft modular codebases and uphold version control integrity throughout release cycles.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Strong expertise in C++ and Python programming languages.
• Comprehensive understanding of TCP/UDP networking concepts, socket programming, caching strategies, operating systems, and computer architecture.
• Practical experience with Linux/Bash, Git/GitHub, GDB, and Wireshark.
• Demonstrated proficiency in object-oriented design, algorithmic complexity, recursive problem-solving, and concurrent state management.
• A GPA of 3.5 or higher is preferred.
• Familiarity with C, C#, Java, SQL, or x86 Assembly is advantageous.
• Experience with SFML, Unity, or VR/AR engines is a plus.
• Self-motivated individual capable of overseeing projects from requirement mapping to thorough testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and code reviews.
