This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Drive player acquisition and retention across the Team17 portfolio.
• Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel performance marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with Brand Managers to comprehend game strategies and objectives.
• Take ownership of campaign development, delivery, and optimization to enhance customer acquisition, revenue growth, and marketing efficiency.
• Work alongside Creative Services to brief and align assets according to channel and audience needs.
• Define campaigns across paid media channels based on title objectives, target audiences, competitor analysis, budgets, ROI projections, channels, and platform requirements.
• Set up, execute, and verify campaigns delivered through agencies and partners.
• Optimize campaigns and player journeys, including landing-page UX, using performance metrics and best practices.
• Brief, negotiate, manage, and supervise endemic campaigns with partners such as IGN, Future, Twitch, and Discord.
• Oversee store campaigns with PlayStation NetAds and Xbox.
• Lead the email marketing strategy, including planning, creative, segmentation, execution, optimization, and reporting.
• Translate paid media, analytics, and store data into actionable insights, recommendations, and benchmarks.
• Provide performance-led creative briefs and guide creative partners on video and static ad assets.
• Collaborate with Legal and relevant teams on advertising, tracking, cookies, CRM, privacy, and compliance.
• Develop comprehensive reporting for internal teams and external studios, connecting campaign data, analytics, and commercial performance.
• Hands-on experience managing PC and console campaigns across Meta, Google, Reddit, TikTok, X, Snapchat, and Amazon; mobile experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of PC/console games marketing, including endemic media, platforms/stores, and sector attribution challenges.
• Advanced skills in campaign optimization and performance analysis.
• Significant experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, event mapping/tagging, and digital analytics; familiarity with Adobe Analytics is desirable.
• Extensive experience in email marketing and segmentation; preferably using HubSpot and/or Mailchimp.
• Strong grasp of attribution approaches and tools.
• Understanding of performance creative best practices across video and static assets.
• Ability to integrate media, analytics, and store data to establish benchmarks.
• Comprehensive understanding of digital privacy and compliance requirements concerning advertising, tracking, cookies, and CRM.
• Mobile advertising, MMP, and mobile network experience within gaming are desirable but not mandatory.
• Project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Proficient in relationship and stakeholder management across internal and external partners.
• Analytical and commercial mindset, capable of transforming data into recommendations.
• Comfortable making informed assumptions, testing hypotheses, and working with incomplete data.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to brief partners effectively.
• Adaptable across various games, audiences, budgets, and campaign objectives.
• Strong negotiation skills in the media landscape.
