Performance Marketing Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy and execution for paid acquisition across various channels, starting with SEM and paid social, and expanding into CTV, paid sponsorships, and additional platforms.

• Manage the allocation, pacing, and reallocation of the paid media budget to ensure effective spending.

• Oversee campaigns from start to finish, including strategy formulation, execution, optimization, analysis, and reporting.

• Enhance account performance through keyword management, ad copy experimentation, campaign structure enhancements, and bid strategy optimization.

• Implement testing across ad copy, creative formats, audience targeting, and landing pages while documenting the insights gained.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to boost conversion rates on landing pages and within the funnel.

• Monitor performance metrics such as CAC, LTV:CAC, CPA, and ROAS, linking expenditure to registrations, trial initiations, and customer revenue.

• Analyze audience and placement data to uncover opportunities and eliminate ineffective segments.

• Provide weekly reports on paid performance and testing outcomes, translating results into actionable recommendations.

• Collaborate with data teams to ensure proper attribution, tracking, and conversion measurement.

• Assess and supervise agencies, vendors, and tools as necessary.

• Adapt the acquisition roadmap based on performance metrics, seasonality, competitive landscape, and audience insights.

• Work closely with the Head of Growth and partner with data, product, lifecycle, and creative teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in performance marketing or paid acquisition, with significant consumer/B2C exposure.

• Proficient in Google Ads and paid social platforms; experience with Meta is mandatory.

• Familiarity with platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, or TikTok is advantageous.

• Proven track record of managing an annual paid budget of at least $1M and achieving efficiency benchmarks.

• Strong analytical abilities, including the capability to extract data from BI or warehouse systems and create reports.

• Understanding of attribution, incrementality, and the limitations of measurement techniques.

• Experience with subscription or freemium business models.

• Proven success in optimizing for downstream revenue rather than merely lead volume.

• Demonstrated instincts in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and experience with landing page and funnel testing.

• Excellent written communication skills for articulating performance and trade-offs to leadership.

• Ability to work autonomously within a small, dynamic team environment.
