This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Deliver L1, L2, and L3 support for PeopleSoft applications, including resolving incidents and tickets.
• Manage maintenance and support tasks, such as applying Oracle certificates and updating PeopleSoft and CPU patches.
• Administer and troubleshoot application servers, process schedulers, web server domains, and Elasticsearch systems.
• Configure and oversee Elasticsearch, addressing troubleshooting and root cause analysis as needed.
• Utilize Change Assistant to implement Oracle-delivered bug fixes.
• Execute performance tuning for application, web, and process scheduler servers.
• Conduct debugging, tracing, and troubleshooting for PeopleSoft applications.
• Assist with Oracle database backup management and contribute to performance tuning efforts.
• Oversee and support Integration Broker as well as Single Sign-On functionalities.
• Configure and troubleshoot Integration Broker as required.
• Establish and configure clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms for PeopleSoft servers.
• Carry out PeopleSoft environment refreshes, including the management of file servers and recreation of application, web, and process scheduler domains.
• Collaborate with the technical team on impact analysis for patches and packages.
• Work with the technical team on development challenges that require Apps DBA/PeopleTools Metadata expertise.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly health checks to ensure instance health.
• Generate security access reports for multiple environments.
• Create and maintain environment catalogs along with associated documentation.
• Proficient in advanced English.
• Over 5 years of experience in the field.
• Basic database administration skills are acceptable; however, expertise as a Database Administrator is not mandatory.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft administration and PeopleTools version PT 8.59.
• Experience with project migrations utilizing the STAT tool.
• Proficient with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
• Basic understanding of Azure cloud is a plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle certificates, PeopleSoft, and CPU patch updates.
• Understanding of Application Servers, Process Schedulers, Web Server Domains, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience using Change Assistant (CA).
• Familiarity with performance tuning, PeopleSoft debugging, tracing, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Oracle database backup management practices.
• Understanding of Integration Broker and Single Sign-On (SSO) operations.
• Knowledge of clustering, load balancing, and failover strategies for PeopleSoft servers.
• Familiarity with Apps DBA/PeopleTools Metadata.
• Ability to generate security access reports and maintain documentation for environments.
