People Team Communications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a dedicated partner for Internal Communications within the People Success team.

• Lead the communications strategy for People programs and company-wide initiatives with a focus on business objectives and product marketing.

• Provide counsel to the Chief People Officer and senior leaders on organizational changes, policy updates, leadership transitions, and other critical announcements.

• Develop clear and relatable messaging that fosters trust.

• Manage internal communications for the People Success Team, which includes monthly town halls, leadership messages, and team resources.

• Compose and refine communications from the CPO, scripts for town halls, company announcements, and FAQs.

• Convert People programs into clear value propositions for Coinbase leaders and employees.

• Establish scalable communication frameworks, such as editorial calendars, playbooks, measurement systems, and operating procedures.

• Collaborate with the wider Internal Communications team and cross-functional partners.

• Leverage data, employee feedback, and AI-driven workflows to assess impact, enhance scalability, and promote ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in internal communications, strategic communications, change communications, or product marketing.

• Demonstrated experience advising C-suite or VP-level executives on intricate, high-stakes messaging.

• Proven history of creating executive-level content that resulted in measurable engagement or adoption outcomes.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and narrative development abilities.

• Strong executive presence and effective interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to challenge, influence decisions, and quickly establish trust with senior leaders.

• Ability to oversee a wide range of concurrent initiatives involving multiple senior stakeholders while sustaining a coherent and clear communications strategy.

• Experience in developing scalable communication processes, systems, and measurement frameworks from the ground up.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI under human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and achieve measurable enhancements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
