📋 Description

• Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, which includes onboarding, offboarding, managing employee files, and administering benefits.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to establish role-specific onboarding processes.

• Ensure compliance for new hires by managing I-9 verification, state new-hire filings, and benefits enrollment timelines.

• Investigate federal, state, and local employment law regulations.

• Supervise systems and practices to ensure compliance.

• Create and enhance policies and procedures for leadership's review and approval.

• Prepare and keep up-to-date offer letters, employment contracts, onboarding materials, and various HR documents.

• Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries and address daily HR concerns.

• Refer complex employee issues as necessary.

• Collaborate with People Operations Associates and HR Administrators to address queries and share expertise.

• Assist in employee engagement initiatives, surveys, recognition programs, team-building activities, and offsite events.

• Gather feedback to enhance the employee experience.

• Recognize and document opportunities to optimize HR processes utilizing AI tools.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred experience).

• 2–4 years of practical experience as an HR generalist.

• Ideally, experience in a small or rapidly growing company managing the complete employee lifecycle.

• Familiarity with HR compliance and fundamental employment law principles.

• Capability to research and implement new employment regulations.

• Experience in developing and implementing HR automation and systems.

• Comfort with HRIS platforms.

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good judgment and the ability to uphold integrity, compliance, and confidentiality with sensitive information.

• Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing while maintaining attention to detail.

• Full-time salaried candidates must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada.
