This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy and multi-year roadmap for Global People Operations across all regions.

• Lead the Global People Services team by establishing standards, service levels, quality, and geographic coverage.

• Direct the automation and enablement initiatives, including the implementation of AI agents and automated processes for repetitive tasks.

• Create and execute a tiered service model that includes self-service, shared services, and expert support.

• Develop governance for AI and automation, incorporating guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, privacy, security, auditability, and compliance measures.

• Define and manage key metrics such as service levels, case deflection, cycle time, cost-to-serve, accuracy, and employee experience.

• Lead and mentor the People Operations team, including People Product Managers.

• Collaborate with HR Technology, IT, Legal, Finance, and People leaders on systems, data, processes, and automation efforts.

• Manage change initiatives and promote adoption across diverse regions and cultures.

• Ensure global compliance and data governance across operating markets.

• Oversee vendors, budget, and the roadmap for People Operations tools.

• Continuously enhance and scale the operating model as Ethos expands into new markets.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in People/HR Operations, shared services, or people/business operations, including several years in leadership roles.

• Demonstrated experience in building or managing a People/HR shared services operation and a tiered service model.

• Proven history of establishing automation and enablement strategies, as well as deploying AI or agentic solutions in an operational context.

• Strong operational discipline in service-level management, metrics, cost-to-serve, and capacity planning.

• Experience working globally across multiple countries with a solid understanding of regional compliance and data privacy regulations.

• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication abilities.

• Understanding of AI governance, including privacy, fairness, security, auditability, and human oversight.

• Expertise in change management with the capability to drive large-scale adoption in a distributed organization.

• Sound judgment in handling sensitive, confidential, and critical situations.

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Relevant certifications are preferred.
