People Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day People operations, taking ownership of the operational aspects of the team members’ experience.

• Lead the recruitment process from start to finish for a fully remote team of 150 individuals across more than 20 countries.

• Manage Deel as the HRIS, serving as the definitive source for employee records, organizational structure, and data integrity for employees, EOR, and contractors.

• Administer the People technology stack, which includes Gusto, Ashby, and Lattice.

• Facilitate onboarding from the offer stage to the first day, and manage offboarding from notice to the last day, encompassing contracts, amendments, documentation, system setup, and related operational tasks.

• Administer, enforce, and update employee benefits and policies.

• Oversee the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, applicant evaluation, initial interviews, collaboration with hiring managers and interviewers, candidate communication, offer negotiations, scheduling, and tracking recruitment metrics.

• Create and implement connection initiatives for the distributed team, such as monthly virtual and in-person social events, team activities, and internal culture channels.

• Develop recognition programs for work anniversaries, significant milestones, life events, and gifts.

• Act as the primary point of contact for 150 team members regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.

• Collaborate closely with managers and team members as a trusted advisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in People Operations within tech companies, including roles at fully remote and globally distributed startups.

• Proven experience managing the employee lifecycle end-to-end: recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.

• Demonstrated ability to handle hiring for both technical and non-technical positions from start to finish: screening, interviewing, and collaborating with hiring managers.

• Experience working in fully remote companies with team members located in various countries.

• Familiarity with diverse worker types: employees, EOR, and contractors.

• Proficient in administering HRIS and ATS platforms.

• Experience with Deel, Ashby, and Lattice is advantageous.

• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Strong knowledge of HR best practices.

• A solid understanding of what constitutes excellence across the employee lifecycle, compliance, and documentation.

• Ability to discern what issues to escalate and what can be managed independently.

• Experience in the gaming or consumer tech industries is a plus.

• Knowledge of US employment law and compliance is beneficial.
