This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires from the moment they accept their offer until their integration into the company.
• Facilitate communications and pre-boarding activities for new employees.
• Conduct new hire orientation sessions.
• Manage payroll processing, employee transitions, offboarding, benefits administration, and address employee inquiries.
• Enhance People Operations workflows through the use of AI and automation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding pay, benefits, policies, and People processes.
• Escalate complex employee matters as necessary.
• Maintain FAQs, policy manuals, and internal resources.
• Ensure sensitive employee information is handled with confidentiality.
• Organize system access and equipment for both new hires and outgoing employees.
• Procure laptops and assist with account, tool, and permission provisioning and deprovisioning in collaboration with IT.
• Keep employee records updated across HRIS and associated systems.
• Resolve basic access and system issues.
• Collaborate with the VP of People on opportunities related to AI and automation.
• Test and implement tools and workflows.
• Assist in the selection and implementation of future HRIS, including assessing requirements, data migration, workflow testing, rollout, and adoption.
• Develop scalable People processes and documentation as the organization expands.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related field.
• Ideally, experience in a rapidly growing, early-stage startup environment.
• Practical experience in onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee support, and HR systems.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and People systems.
• Experience in supporting HRIS implementation or migration is advantageous.
• Experience in managing EOR relationships and coordinating onboarding and offboarding across the Americas (AMER).
• Highly organized with remarkable attention to detail, precision, and follow-through.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential employee information.
• Comfortable working within a lean People team, juggling competing priorities, and adjusting quickly.
• Inquisitive about AI and automation, with a drive to streamline workflows, minimize manual tasks, and enhance People Operations.
