This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.
β’ Oversee compliance across multiple states, which includes monitoring changes in laws from state to state, drafting updates to policies, and applying these changes to various employee classifications and pay scales.
β’ Manage the annual compliance audit and refresh the employee handbook from inception to completion within the initial 90 days.
β’ Address escalated inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and leave.
β’ Review and assist in resolving issues faced by Payroll and HR Administration team members.
β’ Redesign HR operational processes with a focus on AI-driven solutions.
β’ Evolve into the management of daily HR operations.
β’ A bachelorβs degree in any field.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of practical HR generalist experience.
β’ Authentic in-house experience with multi-state compliance.
β’ Practical experience in drafting policies, processing payroll, and managing compliance filings.
β’ Ability to work comfortably with payroll, benefits, and compliance in a small, fast-paced team environment.
β’ Passion for leveraging AI in building solutions.
β’ Must currently reside in an eligible state: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.
β’ Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada.
