People Operations Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the integrity of HRIS data, ensuring precise employee records and updates on lifecycle status changes.

• Create, document, and sustain standard operating procedures and employee handbooks within People Operations.

• Recognize operational hindrances and introduce contemporary automation and AI workflows for everyday HR functions.

• Assist in the administration of total rewards, policies, and wellness programs.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations, multi-state remote work protocols, and documentation standards.

• Advocate for internal culture initiatives, peer recognition programs, and connections within remote teams.

• Facilitate employee lifecycle processes and onboarding operations.

• Report directly to the VP of People.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant practical experience in a multi-state, remote setting.

• Hands-on experience with modern HR technology platforms such as Rippling and Lattice.

• Proficient in utilizing AI productivity tools like Gemini to streamline workflows, draft communications, and enhance operations.

• Solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.

• Familiarity with multi-state compliance considerations for a remote workforce.

• Excellent and thoughtful communication abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team.

• Flexibility and skills in solution-building.

• Data-driven decision-making capabilities.

• Ability to work remotely from any location within the United States.
