This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Oversee the operational foundation of Ntiva's People functions, including Total Rewards, leave and accommodations, performance management, corrective actions and terminations, employee-relations investigations, and daily people-services delivery.
• Directly lead and develop the People Operations team.
• Offer subject-matter expertise, escalation support, and hands-on assistance across various functional areas.
• Work in partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition.
• Manage the Manager of People Operations as a strategic partner for complex benefits issues and leave management.
• Lead the People Services Specialist, providing guidance on employee relations, performance issues, and employee transitions.
• Supervise health and welfare, wellness, retirement, voluntary benefit, and recognition programs.
• Drive annual open enrollment and manage relationships with brokers and vendors.
• Ensure benefits compliance with ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Form 5500, and state mandates.
• Assist in 401k and other internal audits alongside payroll and finance teams.
• Administer multi-state leave and accommodation initiatives, including FMLA, ADA, state/local leave, parental leave, and STD/LTD.
• Conduct the interactive accommodation process with proper documentation.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and manage OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.
• Oversee performance cycles, goal-setting, calibration, and talent reviews.
• Manage succession planning in collaboration with the Chief People Officer and senior leadership.
• Coach managers on performance-related discussions and development planning.
• Lead workplace investigations and serve as the escalation point for complex issues.
• Handle warnings, written warnings, and performance improvement plans.
• Collaborate with Legal on involuntary terminations, risk assessments, and separation documentation.
• Supervise offboarding processes, exit interviews, unemployment claims, access deprovisioning, and state-specific final-pay compliance.
• Take responsibility for HRIS data integrity, lifecycle transactions, policy/handbook administration, and people reporting.
• Support HR due diligence and post-close people integration for acquisitions.
• 7–10+ years of experience in HR/People Operations, including team leadership capabilities.
• Required expertise in benefits/total rewards, multi-state leave and ADA/FMLA, performance management, and employee relations/investigations.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws.
• Proficiency in HRIS is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge and utilization of AI technologies.
• SHRM-SCP / SPHR certification is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• U.S. person status is welcomed; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
• Capability to establish a dedicated, safe, and secure workspace free from distractions and hazards.
• Compliance with Ntiva’s IT User and Security Policies is mandatory.
• Adequate arrangements must be made to prevent significant caregiving interruptions during work hours.
