This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +1 more country.
• Manage daily People Operations within a remote company culture.
• Enhance hiring and onboarding processes, recognition systems, goal-setting, communication of values and behavior, personal development plans, learning and development frameworks, and remote team engagement initiatives.
• Organize and implement occasional in-person team gatherings.
• Supervise the creation of job descriptions, oversee the ATS, screen candidates, and manage the careers page along with LinkedIn and Glassdoor presence.
• Refine the digital onboarding experience for new hires.
• Administer digital employee records, manage time off, benefits, online team tools, and EoR relationships.
• Ensure policies and procedures are compliant with legal standards while keeping employee files secure.
• Facilitate remote performance evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
• Develop curriculum, source training materials, conduct sessions, monitor completion, and assess impact.
• Provide reports on headcount, track attrition, and benchmark compensation.
• Communicate updates regarding the company and People Operations along with team news.
• Assess company culture biannually to guide culture strategy.
• Report to the Finance and Administration Lead for operations and compliance, while maintaining a dotted line to the CEO regarding culture systems.
• Within the first three months, establish relationships with team members, advise on compliance matters, document processes for time-off, onboarding, and offboarding, manage the recruitment process from brief to offer, design a six-month learning and development curriculum, and present a comprehensive 12-month people and culture roadmap.
• 3 to 5 years of HR experience in medium-sized companies (20-100 employees), preferably in a remote setting.
• Knowledge of general HR policies and labor laws in Greece and/or the UK.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and understanding the reciprocal impact of HR initiatives on the business.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with HR software (HRIS) and Google Workspace; the company utilizes Factorial.
• Comfortable functioning as part of a distributed team, with flexibility regarding working hours.
• Strong logistical and organizational capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and budget management.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data with the utmost integrity.
• Highly organized self-starter and early adopter of AI technologies.
• Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP or CIPD is advantageous.
• Knowledge of EOS, Scaling Up, Metrononics, or Bloom Growth is a plus.
• Experience with talent sourcing and digital recruitment tools like Workable is beneficial.
• Experience with EoR platforms such as Deel is an added advantage.
