People Operations Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Handle the processing of new hires and employee setup within HR systems.

• Manage employee status modifications, compensation adjustments, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, separations, and offboarding processes.

• Ensure the accuracy of employee personnel files, documentation, HR records, and organizational frameworks.

• Oversee onboarding activities, new hire communications, employment paperwork, training assignments, and offboarding notifications.

• Maintain employee data across HR systems and associated platforms.

• Generate regular reports and assist with data audits, system testing, and data cleanup efforts.

• Provide backup assistance to payroll and benefits functions.

• Facilitate employment verifications and routine HR inquiries.

• Track the completion of mandatory policy acknowledgements.

• Support HR projects and departmental initiatives.

• Deliver prompt, professional support to both employees and managers.

• Collaborate closely with the Manager of HR Operations to ensure accurate, structured HR processes and high service standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, or an HR degree with a minimum of 6 months of relevant HR work experience.

• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, or other business systems is preferred.

• Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately manage sensitive information.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace or similar business applications.

• Strong Excel skills are a significant advantage.

• Candidates must reside in Texas.
