This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Provide administrative assistance to the People Experience team, which includes scheduling meetings and preparing necessary documentation.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and confidential employee files and personnel records in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
• Assist with data entry, reporting tasks, and audits.
• Support compliance initiatives, including document tracking and certification processes.
• Address basic inquiries related to people and culture policies and escalate more complex questions as needed.
• Coordinate logistics for People Experience programs, training sessions, and follow up on monthly reporting with relevant markets.
• Assist with employee relations issues, including performance concerns, conduct matters, conflict resolution, and interpretation of policies.
• Collaborate with benefits teams on leave maintenance and return-to-work coordination.
• Help with the intake, documentation, and coordination of employee relations cases.
• Aid in workplace investigations by gathering information, preparing necessary documents, coordinating interviews, and maintaining files.
• Support employee engagement efforts and compliance initiatives, including occasional site visits, audits, and training coordination.
• Administer and oversee the North America Tenure Program across Canada and the United States.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to employee relations, investigations, or compliance matters.
• Proficiency in both English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive matters professionally and discreetly.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Competence in using Google Workspace tools.
• Preferred post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CHRP designation or progress towards it is considered an asset.
