This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders in various functions.
• Collaborate with leaders to address complex human resource challenges and align talent strategies with organizational priorities.
• Offer guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent development, compensation, employee relations, succession planning, and change management.
• Mentor managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, performance management, staff development, terminations, compensation, succession planning, benefits, and talent acquisition.
• Inform employees about interactions with managers, conflict resolution, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations while recommending necessary changes to practices or programs.
• Investigate concerns raised by employees and stakeholders regarding performance management, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and related issues.
• Evaluate engagement through HR metrics and assessment tools, implementing interventions to overcome obstacles to team success.
• Organize annual merit, performance management, benefits enrollment, and new employee orientation programs.
• Lead team-building activities, merit program sessions, strategic planning, brainstorming, and other group initiatives.
• Coach and offer expertise to HR professionals and support personnel.
• Advocate for the needs of children, prioritize their protection, report concerns, and assist with incident responses.
• Maintain a Christ-like demeanor, support Compassion’s ministry through prayer, and embody core Cultural Behaviors.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Over seven years of pertinent experience in a Human Resources business partner role or similar position.
• Ability to rapidly build trust and credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Experience in influencing decisions, facilitating strategic discussions, and constructively challenging leaders on complex organizational and people-related issues.
• Proven experience in leading or supporting organizational change initiatives, including change management, organizational design, and navigating ambiguity in dynamic environments.
• Capacity to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels, converting business requirements into actionable solutions while managing competing priorities.
• Proficient in utilizing AI-enabled tools and technology to enhance effectiveness.
• Demonstrated spiritual maturity and alignment with Compassion’s Christian mission and values.
• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Strong commitment to child protection standards and Code of Conduct.
• Adhere to Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
