Pega Developer, SSA – IRS MBI Clearance Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a multi-vendor Agile setting alongside IRS personnel

• Modernize and optimize IRS business processes and case management

• Design, build, and test Pega applications

• Enhance workflows to improve efficiency

• Lead design sessions and employ a data-driven approach for evaluations

• Engage with stakeholders to pinpoint impacts and dependencies

• Create prototypes and develop process flows for both current and future states

⛳️ Requirements

• IRS MBI Clearance is mandatory

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) or a higher certification is required

• Minimum of 6 years in Pega development

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies

• Expertise in case management

• Strong capabilities in requirements elaboration, troubleshooting, and data insights

• Familiarity with scaled Agile practices for extensive implementations

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred, or four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree

• Experience at the IRS is preferred

• General knowledge of IRS organizations and tax administration programs is advantageous

• Background in business architecture design using the Pega platform is preferred

• Experience in designing data models is preferred

• Pega experience within the IRS or another large public organization is preferred

• Prior experience leading business process modernization in large organizations is preferred

• Familiarity with SAFe is preferred

• Experience in the federal contracting market is beneficial but not mandatory
