This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Address complaints of alleged misconduct involving Ciarb members in line with Ciarb’s Disciplinary Rules.
• Examine documents and other forms of evidence.
• Determine pertinent facts.
• Collaborate with fellow Panel Members to classify complaints.
• Create concise and evidence-supported reports.
• Offer advice or support to Ciarb staff and/or the Board on matters needing unbiased expertise.
• Provide occasional input over a period of approximately two to four weeks when assigned a complaint.
• Convene with fellow Panel Members to ascertain facts and categorize complaints.
• Possess professional membership of Ciarb.
• Must not be members of the Professional Conduct Committee, Disciplinary Tribunal, or Appeals Tribunal.
• Experience in roles related to investigation, discipline, or committee work.
• Capability to interpret legal advice and apply Ciarb’s procedures effectively.
• Experience in participating in meetings and making group decisions.
• Proficient in IT.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection obligations.

• Ability to analyze complex information and make informed, independent, and sound decisions.
