Pediatric Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Promote, manage, and enhance Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in both hospital and office environments.

• Develop and support sales objectives for Similac and PediaSure within the designated territory.

• Negotiate contracts with hospitals.

• Present product, clinical study, protocol, and guideline information in a sales context.

• Assist with the launch of new products.

• Collaborate with various hospital departments, including NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units.

• Work effectively alongside Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses.

• Manage administrative duties and budgetary responsibilities.

• Operate independently, demonstrating initiative and focus on both short- and long-term objectives.

• Oversee a territory that includes Southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales experience is preferred, ideally combined with clinical experience.

• Proven stability and success in sales are essential.

• High business acumen and subject matter expertise are required.

• Familiarity with hospital settings, particularly in pediatrics, is advantageous.

• Must meet all vendor credentialing standards, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.

• Only local candidates will be considered; this position does not provide relocation assistance.

• The ideal candidate should reside in Southern Massachusetts or Providence, Rhode Island.

• Daily travel from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. is necessary for effective territory management.
