Pediatric Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Promote, manage, and enhance Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products within hospital and office environments.

• Develop and support sales objectives for Similac and PediaSure across each hospital and office service area.

• Engage in hospital negotiations and contract discussions.

• Provide product, clinical study, protocol, and guideline information in a sales context.

• Assist in launching new products.

• Collaborate with hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with dietitians, physicians, and nurses.

• Oversee budgets and administrative tasks.

• Work independently to fulfill both short- and long-term territory objectives.

• Cover the territory of El Paso and Midland/Odessa, Texas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Ideally, at least 2 years of experience in healthcare sales.

• Clinical experience, such as being a Registered Dietitian or Registered Nurse, is preferred.

• Proven stability and success in sales are essential.

• Possess subject matter expertise and strong business acumen.

• Familiarity with hospital environments, particularly in pediatrics, is advantageous.

• Must be a resident of El Paso, TX.

• Local candidates only; relocation assistance is not available.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% overnight.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with dietitians, physicians, and nurses.

• Knowledge of pediatric nutrition products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines is a plus.

• Strong administrative capabilities are required.

• Skills in budget management are necessary.

• Capability to operate independently with initiative and autonomy.
