P&C Actuary Consultant II – Reserving

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement projects that support the reserving insurance sector by utilizing recognized actuarial and statistical standards.

• Collaborate closely with analytics management and essential business partners to formulate and apply reserving methodologies and modeling techniques of moderate complexity.

• Utilize your knowledge of the insurance industry, products, markets, and regulatory frameworks to devise business strategies and make informed decisions.

• Assess and ensure the integrity of data utilized for actuarial and statistical services across various tools and applications.

• Oversee and/or contribute to moderately complex, moderate-scale projects in accordance with established project management standards.

• Present analysis findings to management and non-technical stakeholders, offer recommendations, and substantiate assumptions and methodologies.

• Conduct basic to moderately complex analyses employing traditional actuarial, statistical, and/or predictive modeling techniques.

• Document and assess analyses to provide valuable insights that align with business requirements.

• No supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year).

• Active pursuit of exams from the Casualty Actuarial Society is mandatory.

• A combination of education and experience equivalent to the stated requirements may be acceptable.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.

• Background check is required.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is essential.

• Suitable desk and seating arrangements are required for remote work.

• Reliable internet connection with at least 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds is necessary.
