This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Prepare and validate datasets for pricing analyses while conducting data quality assessments.

• Compile exhibits and supporting documentation for rate filings.

• Execute competitive rate comparisons and summarize market trends.

• Perform analyses and investigate findings under the guidance of senior team members.

• Assist in the development and validation of GLM models and rating relativities.

• Engage in technical and peer reviews, integrating feedback received.

• Develop dashboards and reports to track post-implementation performance.

• Provide support for tools utilized in actuarial analyses.

• Maintain progress towards actuarial credentials through continuous exam completion and professional development.

• Contribute to actuarial functions related to machine learning, pricing, and modeling.

• Help formulate pricing strategies, create predictive models, and support the financial stability of the company.

• Collaborate with actuarial professionals and cross-functional teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Successfully passed at least one actuarial exam; actively progressing towards additional exams.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships or entry-level actuarial positions.

• Strong proficiency in Excel.

• Basic knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with Python or R is advantageous.

• Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks in a remote environment.

• Demonstrated experience working with US-based business teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Availability for an 8-hour workday, excluding breaks.

• 4 core US hours overlap (7:30 PM–11:30 PM IST) along with 4 flexible hours (IST).

• A quiet workspace is essential.

• Internet connection must be at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
