This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct profitability analysis for the Inforce Management team.
• Offer capital, reinsurance, and analytical support for management planning and decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with pricing, modeling, reinsurance, finance, and company management teams.
• Evaluate pricing strategies for annuity products.
• Perform pricing, projections, and analyses to assess reinsurance agreements.
• Review and update metrics related to product profitability.
• Analyze the capital implications of pricing or product decisions.
• Generate summaries regarding product profitability.
• Make informed decisions based on product performance, profitability, reinsurance effects, capital utilization, and risk factors.
• Update documentation and maintain files in accordance with model governance standards.
• Develop product analyses and recommendations for company planning or forecasting activities.
• Assist in the integration of new products, reinsurance treaties, pricing metrics, and updates to management reporting.
• Design and implement improvements for processes that are repeatable and scalable.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, or subject matter expertise to colleagues as needed.
• Execute other assigned functions, duties, and projects.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• ASA designation is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in various actuarial functions with a solid understanding of pricing, capital, reinsurance, and/or financial metrics.
• Familiarity with GGY AXIS or similar actuarial modeling software.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), VBA, R, Alteryx, and actuarial software such as AXIS is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
• Capability to apply actuarial principles effectively in work outputs.
• Commitment to delivering precise information within set deadlines.
• Proactive issue identification and support for project decisions.
• Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong initiative and capability to manage project delivery and individual tasks in evolving circumstances.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
• Annuity product experience is preferred but not mandatory, especially with Fixed Annuity, Fixed Indexed Annuity, or Registered Indexed Linked Annuity products.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
