This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Accurately and promptly process payroll for a diverse range of clients.
• Oversee payroll reporting and manage payroll tax registrations.
• Establish and maintain payroll systems along with benefit tracking solutions.
• Confirm payroll data and ensure seamless transitions from previous providers.
• Act as a reliable resource for client inquiries and payroll-related questions.
• Detect, investigate, and rectify payroll discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with internal specialists and technology partners to resolve complex issues.
• Promote continuous process improvement initiatives and best practices in payroll.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, payroll vendors, and internal team members.
• Contribute to an environment that values learning, collaboration, and outstanding client service.
• Proficiency in payroll platforms such as Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Online Payroll, or similar systems.
• Understanding of payroll processing, compliance standards, and multi-state payroll tax regulations.
• Knowledge of payroll setup, system integrations, and payroll reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience in supporting benefits administration, including health and retirement plans.
• Capability to work with time-tracking systems and payroll integrations.
• Remarkable attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of payroll-related experience.
