Payroll Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Manage comprehensive payroll processing across various locations and jurisdictions.

• Ensure adherence to payroll, tax, and statutory regulations.

• Supervise audits, reporting, and year-end payroll functions.

• Advance payroll system enhancements, integrations, and automation projects.

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and external partners to enhance payroll operations and data precision.

• Set and track payroll KPIs and service standards.

• Examine payroll data, recognize patterns, and suggest process enhancements.

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a payroll team spread across different regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in payroll leadership.

• Background in managing payroll operations across multiple sites and/or internationally.

• In-depth understanding of payroll laws, tax, and compliance standards.

• Demonstrated success in leading payroll system rollouts, upgrades, or integrations.

• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or Oracle.

• Proficient in advanced Excel and payroll reporting techniques.

• Strong skills in analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

• Professional payroll certification (CPP, FPC, CIPP, IPASS, or equivalent) is preferred.

• Experience in a shared services or global business services setting is advantageous.
