Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all components of payroll, encompassing tax levies, garnishments, taxation, deductions, and special pay.

• Validate payroll entries and perform audits for every payroll cycle.

• Examine audit reports to detect and rectify accuracy discrepancies prior to processing.

• Ensure adherence to Federal, State, and Local payroll regulations.

• Secure necessary approvals for escalated actions such as off-cycle payments.

• Assist in processing off-cycle payments.

• Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries.

• Act as the primary point of contact for associates, managers, and timekeepers regarding payroll inquiries, time management, pay calculations, and deductions.

• Facilitate accurate payroll reporting and analytical assessments.

• Input historical corrections into the time and attendance system.

• Maintain flexible hours to meet critical deadlines.

• Support the GBS Manila team by providing education on pay processes and reviewing pay corrections.

• Prior experience in payroll processing (preferred).
