Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Process monthly payroll for employees, encompassing salaries, wages, allowances, and deductions.

• Keep employee master data up-to-date, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.

• Provide guidance to HR departments and employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.

• Generate reports and statistical data.

• Collaborate closely with the financial accounting team.

• Assist with personnel-related initiatives.

• Participate in optimizing payroll processes.

• Ensure compliance with payroll tax, social security, and labor law requirements during payroll processing.

• Aid in the digitization and HR projects, particularly in implementing the new tool.

• Deliver centralized payroll services across multiple hospital locations.

• Work in conjunction with local HR advisors at these sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed commercial or administrative training, preferably with a focus on HR, along with several years of experience in payroll and/or finance; alternatively, a relevant degree from a university.

• Strong understanding of payroll tax and social insurance legislation.

• Proficient in using modern office and business software.

• Experience with P&I LogaHR is considered an advantage.

• Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and take responsibility.

• Excellent communication skills, along with reliability and resilience.

• Ability to work well in a team, show initiative, and possess a strong service orientation.

• Previous experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
