This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Acquire knowledge of payroll operations, processes, controls, terminology, and service standards.
• Develop an understanding of comprehensive payroll administration.
• Assist in the validation of payroll data, reconciliations, reporting, and analytical reviews.
• Provide support for payroll-related research, issue resolution, documentation, audit requests, and cross-functional coordination.
• Contribute to enhancements in payroll processes, automation, workflow documentation, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Utilize knowledge in payroll, compensation, tax, accounting, or analytics for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with teams from Payroll, Producer Services, Accounting, Tax, and business leaders.
• Manage sensitive information with confidentiality, professionalism, and precision.
• Operate under the guidance of one manager while having opportunities to work with various teams.
• Perform additional assigned tasks.
• Must be a full-time student throughout the internship period.

• Preferred fields of study include Accounting, Finance, or a related area.
• Strong analytical abilities demonstrated through prior work experience and/or academic coursework.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with AI tools is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to foster relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking abilities.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new competencies and accept feedback.
• Must meet background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification criteria.
• Must be bondable.
