This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Manage payroll processing for the GuideWell family of companies

• Conduct transactional and administrative payroll data entry, which includes benefit corrections, severance, PTO donations, deductions, direct deposits, duplicate W-2s and paystubs, garnishments, levies, child support, bankruptcies, military differential, leave coding, manual checks, subpoenas, workers’ compensation statements, security requests, and employment verifications

• Execute pre-payroll duties such as employee pay status changes, timecard audits, special payment validation, and pay variance audits

• Process payroll while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as internal corporate policies

• Act as the primary point of contact for payroll, time and labor, and web clock inquiries via phone, email, and help desk channels

• Investigate and resolve paycheck inquiries, including clarifying net-pay calculations

• Provide information regarding employee self-service, company policies, and government regulations

• Handle paycheck distribution issues, communicate necessary corrections, resolve problems, and process repayments

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for payroll operations

• Identify and propose process enhancements

• Relay feedback on employee matters to management

• Collaborate with the payroll team to enhance consistency and payroll processes

• Support the integrity of employee records and coordinate with Payroll Accounting


⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant work experience

• Proficiency with HRIS/Payroll systems

• High school diploma or GED

• Basic understanding of paycheck calculations from gross to net pay

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Active listening abilities to manage a high volume of incoming employee inquiries

• General knowledge of Payroll and HR policies and procedures is preferred

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred

• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll module and ADP Payment Solutions is preferred

• Ability to perform sedentary work and occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force
