This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist with payroll processing, which includes data entry, generating reports, making timesheet adjustments, and providing backup coverage for the Payroll Manager.
• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues.
• Supply information regarding benefits and compensation.
• Ensure that all necessary documents are processed and entered into the HRIS.
• Aid in benefits enrollment, modifications, and terminations.
• Support employees with STD/LTD applications and other related forms.
• Keep personnel files and HRIS data accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure HR practices align with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide administrative assistance by scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and preparing reports.
• Oversee temporary staffing requests, which includes coordinating with staffing agencies, managing timecards and invoices, and processing requests and cancellations.
• Actively engage in discussions about process improvement strategies and solutions.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• High school diploma is required; a diploma or degree in Human Resources is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in Payroll or HR.
• Proficient in HR software and systems.
• Familiarity with HR policies and procedures.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively plan and prioritize tasks for implementation.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities in a time-sensitive logistics environment.
• Capacity to meet deadlines and exhibit strong time management skills.
• Capability to multitask in a dynamic work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to engage with a diverse workforce across various settings.
