Payor Relations Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Support the development and upkeep of financial data pertaining to volume, financial performance, and profitability for each managed care agreement.

• Generate initial interpretations of analyses for project teams, departments, and/or management.

• Aid in formulating reimbursement strategies along with policies and procedures related to contract negotiations.

• Stay informed on the managed care landscape, including local, state, and national updates.

• Foster and maintain relationships with relevant agencies.

• Assist in the process of contract negotiations.

• Communicate updates regarding managed care processes and ensure compliance among employees.

• Collaborate with Financial Operations, Revenue Management, Business Office, and other internal teams to enhance reimbursement and address reimbursement, operational, and clinical challenges.

• Engage with affiliated entities on managed care contracts and strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a hospital or managed care setting.

• Bachelor's Degree.
