This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer expertise and support in payments to the sales team and potential merchants.
• Cultivate and sustain a comprehensive understanding of the payments sector, including trends, regulations, and technologies.
• Serve as a subject matter authority on payment products and services.
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure that payment solutions align with market demands and compliance standards.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the payments domain.
• Deliver training and support to sales teams regarding payment products, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
• Engage with clients and partners to comprehend their payment needs and formulate customized solutions.
• Remain informed about competitive offerings and market dynamics to guide sales strategies.
• Build and sustain relationships with key technical stakeholders.
• Function as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders and vendors to guarantee the complete implementation and configuration for each merchant.
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and forums.
• 3–5 years of sales experience within the payments industry, demonstrating a proven history of achieving or surpassing sales goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Profound understanding of embedded payment processing technologies, including card-present and card-not-present transactions.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, gateways, APIs, and software integration.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to transform market insights into effective sales strategies.
• Verified ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards pertinent to payments.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client engagements and sales support.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Payments Professional are preferred but not mandatory.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
