This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Identify and onboard new merchant clients across various sectors including Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Public Sector.
• Enhance and expand the territory through targeted business development initiatives.
• Perform product demonstrations and clearly communicate the value of MPS solutions.
• Oversee a dynamic sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce and other CRM tools.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to effectively finalize deals.
• Establish and sustain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Implement customer retention strategies to minimize churn and boost satisfaction levels.
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and tailored solutions to meet clients' business requirements.
• Identify and pursue opportunities in high-growth regions and sectors.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory updates.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and guidelines for promotional offers.
• Maintain precise records of sales activities and interactions with customers.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two to three years of pertinent sales experience.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• 3-5 years of direct sales experience, ideally in payments, financial services, or SaaS.
• Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales goals.
• Strong comprehension of merchant services and payment processing.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with MPS platforms and U.S. Bank distribution channels is advantageous.
• Regional market knowledge of the Southern U.S. is a plus.
• Candidates must comply with U.S. Bank’s policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, as well as workplace conduct and safety protocols.
