This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Identify and secure new merchant clients in the Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Public Sector sectors.
• Expand the designated territory through effective business development initiatives.
• Conduct product demonstrations and clearly communicate the value proposition of MPS payment solutions.
• Oversee a dynamic sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce and other CRM tools.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to efficiently finalize deals.
• Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Implement customer retention strategies to minimize churn and enhance satisfaction.
• Act as a trusted advisor by delivering customized business insights and solutions.
• Identify and chase opportunities in high-growth regions and sectors.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and promotional offer guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer engagements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two to three years of relevant sales experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• 3-5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in payments, financial services, or SaaS.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing sales goals.
• Strong knowledge of merchant services and payment processing.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Familiarity with MPS platforms and U.S. Bank distribution channels is advantageous.
• Regional market knowledge in the Southern U.S. is a plus.
• Ability to adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies.
