This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Identify and onboard new merchant clients within the Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Public Sector sectors.
• Enhance and expand the territory through targeted business development initiatives.
• Perform product demonstrations and effectively communicate the value proposition of MPS solutions.
• Oversee a comprehensive sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce and other CRM platforms.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to efficiently finalize deals.
• Cultivate and sustain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Implement customer retention strategies to minimize churn and boost satisfaction.
• Act as a trusted advisor, delivering customized business insights and solutions.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities in rapidly growing regions and sectors.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive factors, and regulatory updates.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and promotional offer guidelines.
• Maintain precise records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two to three years of pertinent sales experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• 3-5 years of direct sales experience, ideally in payments, financial services, or SaaS.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales objectives.
• Strong knowledge of merchant services and payment processing.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Salesforce or comparable CRM tools.
• Familiarity with MPS platforms and U.S. Bank distribution channels is advantageous.
• Regional market knowledge in the Southern U.S. is a plus.
• Candidates must adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct as well as related workplace safety and conduct policies.
