This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Identify and onboard new merchant clients within the Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Public Sector sectors.
• Cultivate and expand the territory through targeted business development initiatives.
• Present product demonstrations and effectively communicate the value of MPS solutions.
• Maintain a comprehensive sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce and other CRM tools.
• Negotiate pricing and contract conditions to efficiently finalize agreements.
• Establish and nurture strong, enduring client relationships.
• Implement customer retention strategies to minimize churn and enhance satisfaction.
• Act as a trusted advisor by offering customized business insights and solutions.
• Discover and pursue opportunities in high-growth regions and sectors.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory shifts.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and promotional offer protocols.
• Keep precise records of sales activities and customer engagements.
• Travel as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two to three years of pertinent sales experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• 3-5 years of experience in direct sales, ideally in payments, financial services, or SaaS.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales goals.
• Strong grasp of merchant services and payment processing.
• Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and organization.
• Proficient with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with MPS platforms and U.S. Bank distribution channels is advantageous.
• Regional expertise in the Southern U.S. is a plus.
• Ability to adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and associated workplace conduct and safety policies.
