This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct daily operations related to money movement within Bastion’s payments and stablecoin framework.
• Oversee payment transactions across both domestic and international channels.
• Identify and resolve transaction-related issues.
• Ensure accurate pricing and reconciliation processes.
• Assist in partner integrations.
• Lead operational incidents to resolution.
• Work collaboratively with various teams to uphold SLAs, enhance workflows, and improve monitoring and alerting systems.
• Perform daily reconciliation of cryptocurrency and fiat transactions across banks, PFIs, liquidity providers, and exchanges.
• Supervise on/off-ramp and payment rail activities, flagging any stalled or failed transactions.
• Manage returns, rejects, and recalls effectively.
• Take ownership of reconciliation and exception handling for assigned rails and partners.
• Escalate payment issues, settlement delays, and conversion failures in collaboration with Customer Support.
• Coordinate with Treasury regarding operating balances, prefunding, rebalancing, and settlement schedules.
• Enhance reconciliation systems, dashboards, and reporting while tracking throughput, settlement latency, and exception rates.
• Develop or revise SOPs and runbooks.
• Automate workflows and integrate AI-enabled processes.
• Collaborate with Product and GTM teams to introduce new rails, partners, and corridors.
• Establish acceptance criteria, assist in end-to-end testing, and validate settlement and reconciliation prior to go-live.
• Facilitate product readiness and QA by producing clear specifications and testing new features.
• Create monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect issues before they impact customers.
• Develop a standardized playbook for onboarding new rails and partners into production.
• Applicants must be located in the United States.
• Preference will be given to candidates situated in the NYC area or those who are available to work East Coast hours.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check is mandatory as a condition of employment.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Proven experience in daily reconciliation of cryptocurrency and fiat across banks, PFIs, liquidity providers, and exchanges.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring payment flows across on/off-ramp and payment rails.
• Proficient in managing returns, rejects, recalls, stalled payments, failed transactions, settlement delays, and failed conversions.
• Capability to coordinate with Treasury on operating balances, prefunding, rebalancing, and settlement timing.
• Ability to collaborate with Product and GTM on new rails, partners, and corridors.
• Skills in defining acceptance criteria, supporting end-to-end testing, and validating settlement and reconciliation prior to go-live.
• Competence in translating Payment Operations requirements into precise specifications and testing new functionalities.
• Expertise in building monitoring and alerting systems.
• Proficient in utilizing automation and AI-enabled workflows to minimize manual efforts and enhance exception handling.
