This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.
• Oversee daily 3PL operations, encompassing inbound logistics, pick/pack/ship processes, inventory management, and returns handling.
• Generate and distribute daily UnPGI orders along with reports on the prior day's sales invoices.
• Perform weekly reviews of claims and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
• Take ownership of customer-critical shipments and address any service discrepancies.
• Monitor and enforce key performance indicators (KPIs) for the 3PL.
• Initiate and manage quarterly performance improvement plans when needed.
• Review warehouse and transportation invoices to verify labor charges.
• Track expedited shipments and support budget performance metrics.
• Lead bi-weekly reviews of internal launch timelines and maintain tracking systems.
• Ensure that MDM, SDS, and setup elements are finalized with both internal teams and the 3PL.
• Oversee new product launch orders and manage transportation until delivery.
• Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure audit readiness; keep licensing records updated.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) on the development of SOPs and conduct audits.
• Establish system connectivity and implement DSCSA requirements for comprehensive traceability.
• Evaluate the capabilities of the 3PL and manage non-standard requests such as inspections, rework, and repacking.
• Communicate capacity limits and execution strategies to cross-functional teams.
• Provide volume forecasts to ensure that labor plans align with demand.
• Monitor and authorize overtime as well as ad-hoc labor requirements.
• Facilitate weekly management reviews and quarterly business evaluations.
• Liaise with Customer Care, Commercial, Finance, and Operations departments.
• Support initiatives for root cause analysis and other change actions to enhance service quality.
• Bachelor’s degree accompanied by over 5 years of experience in Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in inbound and outbound logistics.
• Familiarity with warehousing operations.
• Experience handling controlled substances.
• Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse functionalities.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and FDA clearance processes.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements including GMP, GDP, GWP, cGMP, FDA, and USCBP.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management.
• Experience in Material Handling.
• Knowledge of Outbound Logistics.
• Experience with Product Recall processes.
• Understanding of Supply Inventory management.
