Payment Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Handle cancellation requests with a focus on customer retention by understanding their concerns and providing tailored solutions.

• Manage billing and collections, actively reaching out to customers by phone, updating internal teams, and streamlining processes.

• Spot upsell possibilities and propose suitable account upgrades.

• Assist customers with billing questions and payment issues through phone, email, and chat.

• Conduct the majority of interactions via phone, while also providing support through email and chat.

• Work collaboratively across teams to report issues, recommend product enhancements, and contribute to significant projects.

• Reach out to customers via phone and email to recover overdue payments while fostering a positive relationship.

• Record key activities and insights obtained during the collection process and ensure timely follow-up.

• Utilize negotiation skills to resolve customer concerns and offer optimal solutions for both parties.

• Follow established procedures while exhibiting independent problem-solving abilities.

• Maintain active engagement with the team via chat and other communication channels to promote collaboration and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role.

• Confident and proactive in engaging with customers over the phone.

• Proficient in English (with excellent written and verbal communication skills).

• Experience in customer retention is preferred but not required.

• Sales experience is advantageous.

• Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
