This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive payer contracting strategy to secure new contracts and enhance payer coverage in key target markets.
• Negotiate rates, terms, and contractual language with both national and regional health plans.
• Propel the contracting roadmap from initial outreach to the execution and implementation of contracts.
• Collaborate with Operations, Business Development, and Clinical leadership to comprehend market activation strategies and prioritize contracting targets.
• Convert market expansion and business development objectives into focused network development initiatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding the payer landscape for cross-functional internal teams.
• Foster and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers and network managers at health plans.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for payer partners.
• Evaluate market trends, competitive intelligence, and reimbursement landscapes.
• Monitor and report on contracting KPIs and network adequacy.
• Modify and reprioritize strategies to enhance access to care for members.
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in payer contracting, network development, or managed care, ideally within the digital health, behavioral health, or health tech sectors.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiating, and executing complex fee-for-service and/or value-based contracts with national and regional health plans.
• Extensive experience in aligning business development, operations, and executive teams to advance a unified market strategy.
• Comprehensive understanding of the health plan landscape, credentialing processes, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• A self-starter who excels in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Proven capability to independently establish new relationships and navigate lengthy, complex sales and contracting cycles.
