This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct pre-registration calls consecutively prior to patient appointments with doctors.

• Verify patient identity, current location, consent forms, reason for visit, recent hospital admissions, medications, insurance details, home address, and primary care physician.

• Provide video links and assist patients in accessing video consultations.

• Organize phone consultations when video options are not available.

• Facilitate live medical consultations by interpreting between English and Spanish.

• Reschedule missed appointments and utilize the cancellation list to fill available slots.

• Record every interaction within the designated platform.

• Alert the care team about any urgent requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both English and Spanish, capable of conducting patient calls in either language and accurately interpreting live medical discussions.

• Full-time availability from Monday to Friday.

• One of the following: an active LPN/LVN license or CHW certification, a medical interpreter qualification, or over 2 years of experience directly interacting with patients or health plan members.

• Must reside within the United States.

• Familiarity with Medicare programs: Original Medicare vs. Medicare Advantage, Part B, and supplemental plans.

• Ability to manage a busy schedule of video consultations, evaluated based on completed visits rather than the number of calls made.

• Access to a reliable computer and internet connection.

• A quiet, private environment for patient communications and safeguarding health information.

• Experience or certification in medical interpreting is preferred.

• Background in telehealth, patient access, or healthcare call center roles is preferred.
