Lien Resolution Associate, Personal Injury, Bilingual English/Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Engage in negotiations regarding hospital liens and medical provider balances under the guidance of attorneys and in accordance with firm protocols.

• Assess medical invoices, confirm outstanding balances, and gather necessary documentation.

• Initiate reduction requests and maintain consistent follow-up.

• Secure written confirmation of negotiated agreements.

• Keep precise records of balances, negotiations, agreements, and the status of cases in Litify.

• Collaborate with attorneys and closing personnel to address unresolved items.

• Prepare documentation for settlement disbursement.

• Meet performance expectations related to negotiated reductions, turnaround times, productivity, and accuracy.

• Direct legal inquiries and disputed liens that require legal assessment to the appropriate attorney.

• Oversee a high-volume caseload and facilitate the movement of settled personal injury cases toward disbursement.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience in personal injury reductions, liens, or medical bill negotiations.

• Background in personal injury lien reductions, medical bill negotiation, medical billing or collections, or claims management.

• Proven experience negotiating directly with hospitals, medical providers, and collection agencies.

• Experience in independently managing a high-volume reductions caseload from balance verification to written agreements and closing coordination.

• Familiarity with working in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.

• Proficient in both written and verbal English and Spanish.

• Resume should be submitted in English.

• Proficiency in legal case management software; experience with Litify is preferred.

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

• Reliable internet connection, a computer, and a quiet, professional workspace are essential.

• Strong negotiation capabilities.
