Patient Support Specialist – Temporary, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve overnight inquiries and support requests from patients and partners.

• Manage and prioritize inbound questions from patients and partners via phone, email, and SMS.

• Refer patient inquiries and issues to other teams for further assistance.

• Aid Field Support and Sprinters with real-time adjustments to scheduling.

• Conduct clerical tasks before and after appointments to allow Sprinters to concentrate on providing home care.

• Assist with additional responsibilities and projects, including process improvements and cross-department training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in patient services or healthcare is required.

• Preferred: familiarity with Zendesk.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software.

• Experience collaborating with national laboratories like Quest or Labcorp, which includes requisition review, issue resolution, and result tracking.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail for appointment documentation and record maintenance.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect clinical and administrative teams.

• Capability to adapt to evolving priorities and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

• Dedication to safeguarding patient confidentiality and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.

• Experience in an on-demand service or healthcare setting.

• Availability to work from Saturday through Wednesday.

• Must be able to work remotely from a home address within the United States.

• Must be able to operate within one of the designated U.S. time zones: Pacific, Central, Mountain, or Eastern.
