Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the provision of accurate and high-quality quotations, purchase orders, and work orders.

• Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional responses to customer inquiries.

• Sustain and enhance sales from existing active customers as well as past non-active clients.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

• Accurately input orders into Oracle.

• Coordinate scheduling and delivery across multiple plant locations.

• Cultivate product knowledge and address customer support inquiries.

• Manage claims, account reconciliations, and transactions efficiently.

• Communicate timely with the relevant departments.

• Handle inbound calls to assist with fundamental customer requirements.

• Act as a liaison between manufacturing and clientele.

• Acquire knowledge of the specified commercial/industrial product line.

• Prepare quotations to support Outside Sales initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong mathematical aptitude for calculating square footage and assisting customers with orders.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of organization.

• Ability to learn, understand, and apply training effectively while exercising sound judgment in varied scenarios.

• Proactive decision-making skills based on customer requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Skills in project management and negotiation.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Capability to interpret building drawings.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education is required.

• 2+ years of experience in construction products sales is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required.

• Previous experience in roofing is a benefit.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
