This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Execute Preventative Maintenance, Installations, Corrective Repairs, and FMIs accurately and on schedule.
• Support less experienced field engineers during equipment installations.
• Address advanced troubleshooting and service repair requirements on assigned equipment.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with teammates and colleagues.
• Engage in effective communication with customers to ensure timely resolution and appropriate follow-up, fostering customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with customers to recommend value-added services that enhance their operational efficiency.
• Stay current on administrative tasks, including maintaining customer service logs and internal service records promptly, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times.
• Employ the GEHC escalation process when necessary, working closely with regional and national support teams to define and implement corrective action plans to resolve customer issues swiftly.
• Act as a member of the account community for key accounts.
• Actively engage with commercial counterparts, identify potential sales leads, participate in sales opportunities such as contract renewals, and assist in promoting and implementing revenue programs.
• Prioritize customer needs and satisfaction while strengthening the relationship to become a valued partner in their business.
• Stay informed about competitor insights and market trends.
• Independently respond to service calls without assistance within one year of employment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent military education; OR completion of the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
• Proficient in Web applications as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to be available "after hours" or work a rotating On-Call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues and coverage as needed.
