This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +15 more states.
• Oversee PFS initiatives and drive process enhancement.
• Partner with the PFS Manager to outline processes, perform readiness evaluations, execute changes, and elevate departmental standards.
• Act as the project manager for PFS initiatives and training for staff education.
• Organize, evaluate, document, and relay operational actions, irregularities, and ongoing requirements.
• Deliver status updates, reports, project summaries, and presentations to the PFS Manager.
• Serve as a substitute for the PFS Manager when necessary.
• Aid in PFS change management communication strategies and initiatives.
• Support RCIRR Leadership with training and educational programs related to the revenue cycle.
• Cultivate relationships with PFS and hospital/clinic departments.
• Participate in PFS meetings, document follow-up items, and coordinate resolutions.
• Investigate payer policies and contracts, providing updated information to PFS teams and leadership.
• Confirm payer contract details in software and ensure reimbursement aligns with agreed rates.
• Mentor caregivers and undertake special projects as assigned.
• High school diploma is mandatory.
• 2–5 years of non-clinical healthcare experience in the revenue cycle is essential.
• An associate's degree is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Proficient fine motor skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Competence in data input and interpretation.
• Capacity to communicate, engage, and collaborate professionally with peers, management, and senior leadership.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Skills to manage, organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively.
• Capability to identify, analyze, and address complex issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in evaluating and understanding information and recognizing trends.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Adequate hearing, speaking, and visual abilities.
• Candidates must reside in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, or Virginia for remote employment.
