Patient Engagement Lead – Global Clinical Trial Recruitment, Retention

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate conversations with functional area leaders and solution partners specific to studies to pinpoint challenges impacting patient enrollment.

• Gather and analyze data to inform effective business decisions and document the solutions reached.

• Utilize expertise in healthcare environments, patient recruitment options, and global recruitment strategies.

• Assist in the formulation of mitigation plans.

• Spearhead the development, approval, and dissemination of comprehensive recruitment and retention strategies.

• Identify and manage community outreach initiatives, including coordination with advocacy groups and local chapter events.

• Coordinate operations of integrated solution partners, including meetings, progress monitoring, risk reporting, and enhancements in efficiency.

• Serve as the quality-control checkpoint for assigned studies.

• Create or assess Participant Engagement Plans and supervise subsequent revisions.

• Manage the translation, printing, distribution, inventory control, and disposal of recruitment and retention materials.

• Initiate discussions with sponsors and internal teams regarding solution performance and enrollment tactics.

• Act as the primary liaison for R&R Operations Project Management, providing updates to clients and financial information.

• Oversee contracted budgets and timelines, document changes in scope, and assist with change orders.

• Select, evaluate, contract, and manage solution partners while addressing vendor-related issues.

• Ensure that deliverables, forecasts, reports, updates, risk evaluations, and mitigations align with client expectations.

• Contribute to business development initiatives and departmental expansion.

• Mentor junior staff and offer project-management guidance.

• Lead or engage in change initiatives within the Inclusion & Access Department.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or a related field in the natural sciences/healthcare (e.g., RN).

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database applications), email, and internet usage.

• Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.

• A team-oriented mindset.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong time management skills.

• Capability to multitask under tight deadlines across various projects with distinct and specific requirements.

• Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

• Flexibility and adaptability to change.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a matrix environment.

• Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education may also be taken into account.
