This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Interpret prescriptions from physicians and prescribers.
• Reach out to doctors, physicians, prescribers, and patients to confirm prescription details and speed up order processing.
• Provide consultations to patients about medication usage and possible drug interactions.
• Monitor order status and address any outstanding issues.
• Contact physicians for both new and transfer authorizations.
• Work in partnership with physicians to switch prescriptions to generic or preferred medications whenever feasible.
• Validate prescription details entered by data entry or order entry personnel.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding lost orders or dispensing errors.
• Maintain daily production, quality, and service standards.
• Adjust work priorities and tasks to meet business demands.
• Provide backup support to other pharmacists as necessary.
• Mentor less experienced pharmacists.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Must possess a current pharmacist license in good standing within the state of residence.
• Candidates must reside and be licensed in AZ, FL, IN, or OH.
• Strong advanced problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with other departments to address issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting prescriptions.
• Emphasis on customer service, quality, and precision.
• Ability to manage timelines and meet strict client deadlines.
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule during peak volume periods.
• High-speed cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload for remote work.
• Availability during training from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm EST.
• Post-training availability from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm EST, including one evening shift from 12:30 pm to 9 pm EST.
