This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in structured, phone-based interactions with patients on behalf of partner healthcare organizations.
• Dedicate a minimum of 6 hours weekly to patient outreach, scheduled around PharmD coursework.
• Carry out patient outreach, assessments, and wellness check-ins utilizing The Grove platform.
• Discuss medication adherence, preventive care, chronic disease management, follow-up care, and various healthcare needs with patients.
• Employ clear, patient-focused communication strategies.
• Accurately record interaction outcomes within the platform.
• Promptly escalate patient safety concerns and clinical inquiries to a licensed clinical supervisor.
• Uphold strict HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Engage in onboarding training and participate in regular team check-ins.
• Complete onboarding training that lasts 14 days or less.
• Must reside in the U.S. and hold U.S. citizenship.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited PharmD program at a U.S. university.
• Open to pharmacy students only.
• Demonstrated strong interest in patient care and enhancing the patient experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills or a sincere desire to develop them.
• Interest in applying pharmacy education beyond academic settings.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting.
• Able to commit to at least 6 hours weekly.
• Access to a compatible computer and cell phone with SMS capabilities.
• A quiet, private workspace devoid of background noise and distractions.
• A video lasting two minutes or less explaining why you would be a suitable candidate and the importance of learning telephonic care.
• Must adhere to HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Flexible, paid work that accommodates your PharmD program.
• Meaningful patient experience prior to graduation.
• Increased confidence in communicating with real patients.
• Experience in discussing healthcare and addressing patient needs in a structured environment.
• A more profound understanding of the barriers impacting medication adherence and patient outcomes.
• Exposure to healthcare technology and remote patient engagement.
• Professional experience to enhance your resume and discuss in future interviews.
