This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contact patients about new or ongoing referrals, verifying demographic details, providing updates on referrals, and confirming the delivery of services or products.
• Liaise with vendor partners, claims adjusters, and nurse case managers concerning both new and ongoing referrals.
• Source vendor partners for each referral according to requested services or products.
• Handle phone communications related to existing referrals, new referrals, and referrals from other team members.
• Offer quotes to clients for their approval and follow up to secure written consent.
• Verify that referrals are medically necessary and have been authorized by the claims adjuster.
• Confirm necessary billing details and ensure referrals are submitted for billing on a daily basis.
• Process referrals in accordance with state regulations and workers’ compensation protocols.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
• Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.
• Travel as needed.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare network and patient care scheduling, or a comparable combination of education and experience is essential.

• Proficient with PC applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
